UC & PIP Bill: Blocked Protections for Disabled

Labour voted against an amendment to protect disabled benefit claimants from cuts under the UC and PIP reforms.

Disabled people were facing benefit cuts with no safety net. This amendment would have protected the most vulnerable claimants from losing essential support.

Disabled people left without protection as benefits are reformed around them.
