285 Labour MPs voted against New Clause 3, which would have strengthened the Universal Credit (Removal of Two Child Limit) Bill with additional protections.

Even when Labour finally brought forward a bill on the two-child limit, they whipped against amendments that would have made it more effective. The party blocked improvements to their own legislation.

Weaker legislation means families continue to fall through the cracks.
